Embarking on a thrilling multiday off-road adventure, Bill and I set our sights on exploring the stunning landscapes of the San Juan Mountains. Our journey began with the iconic Corkscrew Gulch, a scenic 4×4 road renowned for its breathtaking views and challenging terrain. Join us as we traverse the winding ascent to the summit of Red Mountain and immerse ourselves in the vibrant colors of this geological wonderland.

Ascending Corkscrew Gulch:
As we embarked on our journey up Corkscrew Gulch, we were immediately captivated by the rugged beauty of the landscape surrounding us. The narrow and winding road snaked its way up the mountainside, offering exhilarating views at every turn. We navigated through the brilliant hues of the San Juan Mountains, with deep reds, vibrant oranges, and soft yellows painting the landscape in a stunning display of natural beauty.

Challenges and Rewards:
Though the ascent was challenging, with steep inclines and rocky terrain, the rewards were well worth the effort. As we climbed higher, the panoramic vistas became even more breathtaking, providing a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Reaching the Summit:
