Our journey through Utah took an unexpected turn when illness prevented us (me) from embarking on our planned backpacking adventure. Despite the disappointment, we chose to seize the day and explore the scenic roads that wind through the captivating landscapes of Capitol Reef National Park. Little did we know, this decision would lead to a series of unexpected adventures and unforgettable experiences.

Our first stop along the way was Capitol Reef Scenic Drive, a winding road that meanders through the heart of the national park.
