4th of July Camping Adventure at Grand Mesa National Forest
On the 4th of July, we celebrated at Grand Mesa National Forest in Colorado, known for its stunning vistas and 300 lakes. Fishing and hiking were highlights, and exploring the Land of Lakes Overlook provided breathtaking views. Our last day included an 8.9-mile hike, showcasing the region’s rugged beauty. Read more

Hiking Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain and Reaching 16,250 ft.
Bill, Greg, and I visited Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain in Cusco instead of the popular Vinicunca. The vibrant colors are caused by various minerals, offering a unique and less crowded experience. The journey featured a scenic drive, incredible hike, and traditional food. Read more

Day 5 Part 2: Conquering Huayna Picchu
The second part of the Machu Picchu visit included an exhilarating ascent of Huayna Picchu Mountain. Despite the challenging climb, we persevered, enjoying the breathtaking view of the ancient city from the summit.
