This afternoon, Bill and I headed back to Table Mountain to explore new routes and took advantage of the beautiful weather by heading out to North Table Mountain in Golden for a rock climbing adventure with Summit Ascents International.
Embracing the Climb
North Table Mountain, with its stunning basalt cliffs and panoramic views, offered the perfect backdrop for our climbing escapade. The weather was ideal, a rare treat before the predicted winter storm rolls in tomorrow. The sun was shining, the skies were clear, and the temperature was just right for an afternoon of climbing.
Great Company and Canine Companions
What made the day even more special was the company. We were joined by a fantastic group of climbers, all sharing the same enthusiasm for the sport. The camaraderie was palpable, with everyone cheering each other on as we tackled the rock faces. And, of course, our furry friends were there too, adding to the joy of the day. Dogs running around and playing added an extra layer of fun and relaxation to our adventure.

The Climbing Experience
The climbs at North Table Mountain were as challenging as they were rewarding. Each route offered a unique set of obstacles, requiring both physical strength and mental focus. Reaching the top of each climb, we were rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape—a perfect reminder of why we love this sport.
Looking Forward to More Adventures
As the day drew to a close, we reflected on what a fantastic afternoon it had been. The combination of perfect weather, great company, and the thrill of climbing made for an unforgettable experience. With the winter storm approaching, we’re grateful for days like these that allow us to enjoy the outdoors and create lasting memories.
We’re already looking forward to our next climbing adventure and the many more experiences that await us. Here’s to many more days of climbing, exploring, and enjoying the great outdoors! We can’t wait to get back to North Table Mountain for more rock climbing and to discover even more new routes.
